Hopeman Lodge

Welcome to our home and also our family owned and run business, offering three self-catering, self-contained holiday apartments on the top floor of the house, furnished to Tourist Board Grade 2 Star standard (awarded July 16th 03). We are situated on the right hand edge of Hopeman village, next to the golf course.

Hopeman Lodge is a large, three storey high old house with panoramic views overlooking the Moray Firth situated in 8 acres of grounds that run down to a small, beautiful and clean sandy beach. If you are looking for a simple, unsophisticated holiday - bucket and spade, cycling, walking, bird watching - then this will suit you! The village is 6 miles north of Elgin on the coast, and is 3 minutes' drive from Gordonstoun School.

Since we bought the Lodge in July 02 we have overseen the rewiring, replumbing and redecoration of the house. The 2 bedroomed flats each have 2 large bedrooms, a sitting room cum dining room with a kitchenette off it, and a bathroom. The one bedroomed flat has the same facilities with one double bedded room, and has a sofabed in the sitting room if required.The rooms have high ceilings, original wooden floorboards that we have just stripped, sanded and polished, original solid wooden doors and large windows.
